Can't get 1080p with 7000 series tv via HDMI connected to PC
I am trying to connect my PC via HDMI to a philips 55PFL7606 tv.
I can get PC resolutions upto 1280x1024 ok and I can get resolutions upto 1980x1080 but only at 1080i which is 30hz. When I select 1080p on nvidia control panel, to get 1980x1080 at 60hz, the screen simply goes blank.
Am I missing something obvious here, it says in the manual that it supports 1080p at 60hz via HDMI.

Hi,
be sure you have installed the latest firmware for your TV (14.99) and for your graphics card...

It means that the it is the maximum resolution limit of either your graphic card and your TV. I haven't tried using the latest firmware and not sure if it will work.
