Jerky video playback from PC-HDMI to TV.
So i have my PC connected to TV (42pfl4047t) via HDMI.
I watch a video stream with firefox on my PC and its great, but i want to watch it on my TV.
So i drag firefox into TV screen and the video plays very jerkily.
Like it was with wrong FPS settings or something.
From TV settings i used PC mode on and aspect ratio original.
Is there any other option that might help?
Also the same effect happens when i view any other video that way.
Including watching movies with XBMC, however from XBMC settings i enabled "Sync playback to display" and the problem is gone.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Hi,
your TV should have a "PC Mode"... try this one.

PC mode is on and aspect ratio original (unscaled).
Any other suggestions?

Current software seems to be: Q554E-0.79.4.0
Im assuming it is the latest for me (our country) since if i check for updates via internet on my TV it says TV is up to date.

Hi,
please install the latest firmware 91.0 via USB stick - just go to the support website of your TV...

Sorry for the delay.
Unfortunately software upgrade did not help.
So only solution for me is to redirect everything through XBMC with the settings i described earlier to make the video play smoothly.
I guess it is a refresh rate issue.
My PC recognices the Philips TV as 60hz max, while it is supposed to perform better.
