subtitles Philips
Hello
I bought a Philips smart TV, from range 8606.
How can you add subtitles on an USB so the tv can read it. First of all i tried to add subs to an avi file with aviaddXsubs. But the tv isn't able to read it because it's a Divx.
So can you tell me how i can solve this problem? Maybe another program that i can use or how i can add subs to my usb so the tv is able to read them.
Hope you can help me.

Hi,
please install the latest firmware 14.99. Then:
movie.avi
movie.srt
Activate the SRT subtitle via "subtititle" function of your tv.

Hi,
just go to www.philips.be/support Search for your TV, download both the update AND the instruction PDF. It's well explained.

i'm so sorry for bothering you again.
When i open the zip-file, there are 3 files, 1 pdf and 2 others. Is it necessary to open the pdf file, because it there is an error if i want to open it.
I copied the autorun.upg to the usb but my tv doesn't react on it.

Hi,
format your USB stick with FAT. Copy only the autorun.upg to the root of your USB stick. Plug in the USB stick into your TV. Update starts automatically...
