    Loud blast of static on TV

    Philips LCD TV sometimes it suddenly changes from normal volume to a loud blast of incoherent static.
    It might be on for an hour before this happens. I have to turn it off and back on again to resume to normal sound. Also changing the input source and back again will help. This happens on all the inputs I have set up, and they are using different style input cables so I know it is not the source.

    Same problem here.. sometimes it happens every few minutes and sometimes its stays away for hours.
    I think it is the HDMI input source.
    Is there a solution?
