TV not turning on

Hi -

I have a 40PFL9904H/12 that is literally two days old (actually, it's my second tv). However, I simply cannot turn it on. It seems to be totally off (that is, not in standby mode) and when I push the power switch on the TV I hear a beep, but nothing happens. When I unplug and plug it in, the blue Philips screen comes on, but the TV does not switch on! This is extremely frustrating!

Anyone else had this problem or can think of any solutions?

I would advise you to contact your local customer service. Remember to have the model number, serial number and date of purchase ready when calling in.
