EN Digital Terrestrial Receiver DTR 230

My DTR 230 set top box has been working perfectly but now will not switch on. (This device has a green light which shows when the box is 'on' and goes out when the box is 'off'; the green light is there permanently.) I have unplugged the box from the mains, then plugged in again; the green light starts flashing and the screen briefly shows 'loading' but then goes blank and the green light on the box comes back on and stays there. I have tried changing the remote control batteries, which makes no difference. I have also checked that the connections are fully plugged in.

I would advise you to contact your local customer service (Pace) on telephone 0800 07301732. They are open Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
Remember to have model number, serial number and date of purchase ready when you are calling them.

Thanks, Benedickte. I have tried the number that you have suggested but get a "sorry, the number you have called is not available" recorded message. Any chancethat you gave me the wrong number?

I'm really sorry I can see I've done a typing mistake. 0800 073 1732 is the right number.

That's ok. I have called the number and spoken to an advisor at Pace. She asked me to try a few things but none worked. She thinks that, as I have tried new batteries with no difference, the hand set is faulty. As that model is no longer manufactured, they can not help me.
