Angry Upgrade to HTS 3251/12 for YOUTUBE LEANBACK???

Hi all, do any boddy knows when the the upgrade to YouTube Leanback will be released?

I bought the equipment (SoundHub HTS3251/12) in November 2011 with a promise that there would be an upgrade for this feature.

And what are the results, nada,,,,

For now the Philips company even removed the promise on the support page that an upgrade is coming.

Have I missed the upgrade or or give PHILIPS completely XXXX of it?

You are Lucky Nostromo, unfortunately I could not update.
    The following message appears:

    Failed to check software update.
    Enter the correct software.

My HTS Serial Number: KX1A1133171343, ie complies with the requirements.

I tried to upgrade by cable network since I buyed, but stiil receiving the message: No valid upgrade software.

The update by internet never worked and will never work, unfortunately!

I'm too sad to have problems with each update, (I had many problems with my Philips TV: 40PFL8605D/78 too), did not know that was suffered to be a Philips customer, and the support is so unprepared, I regret not having bought another mark.

If somebody knows how to force or workaround this new upgrade problem, please reply.

    Thanks All,
    Regards from Brazil...

    Hi Ricardo,

I also needed to upgrade my player via a usb-stick. In the first step it didnt worked. The reason was that I unzipped the folder direct to the usb-stick.
So the folder on the stick was named "hts3251_12_fus_deu". When you open it, there is a second folder called "UPG_ALL". Remove this folder to the root-folder of your usb-stick. After that my player found and accepted the new firmware.

    hope this helps

    regards

    Marco

    Hi Dears,

I'm using V1.41.00, and I'll try to update with the new firmware posted yesterday, and reply the result here.
Thanks, Marco by the tip, I've tried unsuccessfully to update this way.
