    Error messages, no response to remote control

    Hi,

    I own a BDP7600/12 running the latest firmeware update, in connection with a year 2010 TV 46PDL9705/K.
    I recently experience problems starting/shutting off the blu-ray player, since it does not react to its remote control. Sometimes, the display shows "root" or "standby", however the player does not do anything. I have not found a way other than pulling the power-cord, sometimes daily.
    In addition, the settings for smart picture and sound for the blu-ray player are resetted frequently and withount my interference.

    Please let me know, if you have any solutions for these issues,

    try to load factory defaults and make a cold reboot afterwards...
