    BDP3000/05 Will not read disc

    I bought a BDP3000/05 late December 2009 and I am afraid I have never used it. However this weekend I did go to use it and a message came up stating that it could not read the disc. My son tried different discs and the same thing happened. The DVD player has never been used, has anyone got any ideas or have I just been unlucky and got a dud. I realise that it is well out of warrenty and I will probably have to cut my losses even though I bought it on a credit card and have the statement as proof of purchase.

    If you get a message "Unknown Disc" then please refer to service since your device needs to be checked
