    46PFL9707 : Watching something in 4/3 possible or not ?

    Hi,

    I'm really interested in buying the new 46PFL9707, but since I read (on the Internet, yes I know...) that the previous 46PFL9706 wasn't able to watch something in 4:3 aspect ratio (like some DVD series, old video games, ...), I am not sure to buy it. I don't want to look at a stretch picture...

    Anyone knows if it will be possible to watch something in 4:3 on the 46PFL9707 or if it was possible to watch in 4/3 on the 46PFL9706 ?

    Hi Guewman,

    The 46PFL9707 format is 16:9, however If black bars appear on the screen, you can adjust the picture format to a format that fills the screen.

    Regarding the 46PFL9706T, it is possible to watch or adjust the picture format in 4:3, and you can find an explanation also on the user manual here on page 20.
