    32PFL4505D/F7 stuck cycling through colours

When I plug in the power to my Philips 32PFL4505D/F7 TV, it immediately turns on and continuously loops through different colours and greyscale colours every second or so.

The TV does not respond to any buttons on the original remote control or on the display itself. The power button does not even turn off the TV. The only way to turn it off is to disconnect the power cable.

I have left the power cable disconnected overnight and it still displays the looping colours when I plug it back in. How do I get rid of the looping colours?

    Thank you!

    Thank you for your reply.

It appears to be a software bug. I managed to resolve the issue by pressing the down button then the up button as indicated in this FAQ:
