    Connection home cinema system

I connect my 47PFL7666H/12 to a Samsung HT-E5200 Home Cinema System. Connection is made through HDMI1 and optical cable for sound.
When I wacht tv and put the sound to the Samsung the signal keeps getting lost for a second and then is correct for about 30 seconds and then hesitates again. If I unplug the optical cable nothing changes so it seems sound is not running through that line!
If I play a DVD everything works fine and if I play any other device (IPhone) on the Home Cinema System that works great to!

Can anybody please help me with this?

Both devices have the latest firmware installed.

    Best regards,

    Joost Arnold

    Hi JoostArnold,

    Welcome to our forum

Sorry to see you're having problems with your television.

Can you confirm how you receive your television signal? Are you using the television's internal tuner?

    Best regards,

    Rafe

    Hi,

there is one other (bigger) problem using my 58PFL9956 (HDMI-CEC "EasyLink") with Onkyo TX-SR578 (HDMI-CEC "RIHD"). When I start TV using its RC or Onkyo RC, both wake up and TV recognaised there is an external amplifier what it can use. TV speakers switch off but quite often stream to Onkyo doesn't start. If I switch off Onkyo, TV usually react for this. When I switch on Onkyo, TV usually react for this but not always. It's like Lotto what's right combination of eg. source changes after will sound work. After that everything is OK and I can use both RC to adjusts volume, change chanel an so on.
