Update of software in TV 42PFL5405H not working

I followed the instruction on how to update the software and have the autorun.upg file on my USB key. But nothing happens when I connect the USB to the TV. Please advice.

Autorun.upg should be in the root of a FAT 32 formatted USB flash. Check if the version of the firmware on your TV is lower than the version to which you want to upgrade. If this is the case the update should start automatically.

The autorun.upg is in the root of a FAT 32 formatted USB flash and the version is much lower than the version I want to install. The version on the TV is Q5521-0.75.60.1 and the version I want to install is Q5521-0.140.46.0. So this is not the problem.

The USB needs to be FAT or DOS-formatted.

I contcted Philips via Private Message. JuAn there adviced to try another USB stick. I did that and it worked. So I am happy now :-)
