[42PFL7606] Ghosting effect

Hi Philips,

recently I bought this tv model and the thing that bothers me most is 3D ghosting. I have lot of 3D MKV movies and ghosting appears in every single movie. For example Harry Potter 7B (last movie) is 2D movie converted with Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate to 3D side by side movie (3D depth 2 out of 10) and i can really see ghosting. It really makes me angry!
And then Avatar, also 2D converted with 3D, same output preferences but 3D depth 10 out of 10. Ghosting again. Is there any software update that can remove, or reduce this problem. It is annoying, and you can't watch movie normally. I even taught that problem might be in converter so I tried Aieseesoft Converter Ultimate (3D depth 3 of 52) and ghosting again.
Every movie is in .mkv format with H264 video container (15000kpbs) and ac3 audio container (192kpbs).
If you can help me (us) please do. Any kind of software improvement is welcome.

Try first a real 3D movie like Avatar (one of the best), and then tell us your experience.

My friend, I did. I watched it, and it is full of ghosting. I dont know why it shows. Same ghosting for depth 3 out of 10, and 10 out of 10. I reallz dont know. On my PS3 games depth is great, and no ghosting, but here yes! there shuld be some improvement. For example> why the software has not option to adjust 3D pitcure dept

Processing power it´s limited on 2011 series, on 2012 set´s it´s possible, they are dual core processor, I think......

Processing power it´s limited on 2011 series, on 2012 set´s it´s possible, they are dual core processor, I think......

I wanted to buy 7007 series, but in Croatia it is really expensive (40inch model costs 1350euros). Than I taught about series 6 but review i made was with conclusion that it is not worth of money. Than Tonegel@Alex said: "buy 6007 because it is same as 7606". As 7606 is cheaper now, i bought it. It is really great TV, but i would like to have better 3D expirience!

Could you please confirm what software you have installed on your TV? The latest software is available on the support page (14.99).

Yes, it is the last software version. I installed it right after buying tv. I check your updates for all models three times per week.
But I solved the problem, I think. I dont know who set sharpness to 10 (obviously guys from store - it was lastest shopwindow release). Now pitcure looks much better. Without ghost effect.
It could be good to make 3D settings separately from 2D settings because they are really different. Now I have to change sharpness and brigtness every time I turn off 3D movie!
