    Confusion about VODs on pfl8404h

I am a little bit confused about little-to-no support for domestic VODs such as ipla.pl on my pfl8404h. On domestic philips.pl pages it reads that ipla.pl is supported since 07'2011 while when I browse apps on my 42pfl8404h the only VOD available there is Viewster with very poor selecton of movies. How can I enable ipla.pl Video store app on my 42pfl8404h? Ipla.pl support referred me to the tv set manufacturer - Philips that is. Help plz.

    Hi,

your TV is a 2009 TV. Sadly, 2009 TVs don't have any DRM functionality, which is essential for most of the VOD services. Even 2010 TVs don't have extended DRM support. Only from 2011 TVs and newer...

Ops...I see. Is that DRM a HW or Firmware capability? I mean, any workaround you could think of such as HW or SW upgrade to purchase or I simply can get rid of my 42pfl8404h and must purchase a new tv set to enable VODs on it. Likely will go for Samsung though as they seem to support many more VODs on their tv sets.
I happen to have HTS 5560 I purchased in 2011. Any chance to get DRM compliant VODs on this one either?

Does anybody have any hint on this?
