    5.1 Speaker Systems, PFL4307H TV & Cable Lengths!

    Hello,

    I am interested in buying a philips 5.1 speaker system to go with the 42PFL4307H that i recently bought. However we have a considerable distance [approx 5-8m] to the back of the room where the back two speakers would/ are envisaged to be put.

    So my question is; Are the Philips systems flexible enough to cope with this demand? Can the wires to the back two speakers be extended at all?

    Would this require me to buy a specific model only?

    And in any case would anybody be able to recommend a player based on my desires to run music / films / and of course the tv through the speaker system?

    I am personally lloking now at the HTB9550. Cables are about 8 to 10 meters I think and heard the sound that is really nice
