HTS9241 - blocked disc
My HTS9241 doesn't load new discs, but gives me the message 'blocked' instead. Therefore I assume that there is already a disc in the system. However, this one cannot be removed by eject because I get the same 'blocked' message on the display. What can I do to resolve this?

Hi,
pull power cord and when you replug and switch it on, try to press the open button - maybe it works...

Thanks for the suggestion. Did try to push eject during the starting procedure while powering up after disconnecting the cable, but this did not do anything.
I'm able to place a new CD and hit the eject/load button, but then the new CD only gets halfway into the machine. You can really feel a physical barrier inside. Off course I did this carefully with very little force.

Hitting the eject button while powering up after disconnecting the cable doesn't do anything else. Still the 'blocked' message.
I am able to partly load a second(?) disc when I place it in the slot and hit the eject/load button. I can feel a physical barrier when loading the disc. Of course I do this with very little to no force.

Thanks for the suggestion. I already saw the new update but didn't run it due to the 'blocked' issue. Will try this first before contacting repairs.
updated
Firmware upgrade did not do the trick. In addition to 'blocked' the home screen clearly states 'no disc present' ... perhaps contact repairs indeedLast edited by RoyNL; 09-25-2012 at 08:02 PM.
