List of bugs in 6xx7, 7xx7 and 8xx7 series
I am keeping this list of bugs in order to give Philips clarity and a sense of priority in what they have to solve in order the 2012 line-up be really a good product. The above series share te same firmware.

Thank you for the feed-back but this is a feature that was announced by Philips for this fall. The fall just started. I will add it if at the beginning of winter we will not have it.

Modification of bug 11 because I received the same garbling on History channel SD. So it is not NatGeo HD localized.

i add suggestion from my experience from 42PFL6687H even if i don't know if it's the best place because it's not really bugs:
- Moving in the interface is REALLY slow and laggy even if there is a dualcore?
- no auto-switch on when a device start (like a TNT reciever)
- a shortcut to select "off, game,computer" because it take 2 mn to get it into the interface.
sry for my english.

yesterday my 8007 just switched on the motion feature by itself... it was off in the menu, so i had to turn it on/off in the menu to set it off. another thing is the remote wich works when it wants, sometimes i can adjust volume but not change channels from CH-/CH+.... this far the only good thing about this set is ambilight otherwise it's terryble, thinking of switching back to samsung.

Hi majorusa,
you may want to add these three issues that are bugging me a lot:

--> UNSOLVED
- Video engine crashes on some video files, won't play any video files after that; only unplugging helps
--> UNSOLVED
- TV guide shows all >1000 channels, not just the favorites; TV guide not usable like this
--> ACKNOWLEDGED in mail from philips customer service

This is the most critical bug to me. I also have lots of the other bugs, but this is a so severe defect that it must be fixed immediately! Philips, please fix this. If it can't be fixed I expect a full refund.

*UPDATE*
- Video engine crashes on some video files, won't play any video files after that and neither picture from internal tuner or external HDMI sources will be shown any more, random display of greyed-out user prompts e.g. for configuring WLAN; can only be fixed by turning TV off an on again

Hi,
some people are mentioning that for bug 23 you can solve that by "reinstalling" your TV.
