Hi,
I've recently received 46pfl8007. After assembling the stand I noticed the TV hangs askew on the stand . The left lower corner of the screen is about 2 cm lower then right side. There is no option to adjust horizontal alignment. I did find 1 or 2 other forum posts about this elsewhere but I was just wondering if anyone on here has/had a similar problem and if/how they have fixed this?
(btw, sorry if this is not the correct thread for this issue but I can't find the 'new thread'-button anywhere )

Hi Mrb,
Thanks for the hint! Indeed, for the 6007 the manual mentions those screws but unfortunately for 8007 it doesn't.

However, I will check it on my TV tonight if they're after all. U never know... I must say, that in case they're present, I doubt I will be able to correct this much of deviation without introducing visible askew in the floorplate of the stand. (NB: my TV dressoir is 100% levelled...
)
Thanks anyhow!

Hi, I've replied here yesterday as well, got the notice my post would be showing on the page after approval from a moderator, but until now it's not visible. The stand of 8007-model unfortunately hasn't got adjustment options.
However, I got in touch with Philips Costumer Care today and they're going to send me a new stand, and I don't have to return the old one. Good service!

What is the description of this bug 18 ?
We bought 42PFL6007H/12 last week (firmware 3 Sept 2012) and have also problems with remote control.
In the beginning it worked but after a while it doesn't react on any key except the zero key.
But then you will get a message from TV that this channel isn't installed.
And when i use the remote control from our old TV 32PFL7605H we can control the TV. But the red led on TV doesn't react on the one supplied with TV. Already replaced batteries but no success.
Is this what others also see ? Otherwise we want to exchange the remote control with a new one.
Or can this remote control be 'resetted' ?

Hi EricD.
The latest software version for your TV is 150.48.13 that was updated 30. October. this can be found on the support page.
Please re-pair the remote to the TV. Keep RC near Philips logo and press red and blue buttons at the same time. See this link for more info
Please also see this link for more help with your remote control.
When you're pressing the buttons and TV doesn't react, can you hear any clicking sound?
Best regards,
BenedickteForum Mod

After update To 150.48.13 on 46pfl8007k/12, on a sat receiver in Spain (Canal plus) when I switch to an HD channel with Dolby Digital sound makes a noise. No noise before this firmware.
Majorusa add this bug to your list please.

Hi all,
I would like to report an anoying aspect of my 46PFL8007. I dont know if it is hardware or software related, but in dark shadows black turns to deep blue. It happens with all sources i use and in SD and HD qualty. Yesterday i watched an old movie (James Bond, Dr.No) and in all dark scenes the black suit of James turns instantly deep blue. In lighted scenes the picture is near perfect but in dark scenes everything black turns blue. I have experimented with all kind of settings and color schemes, even blue-blacklevel to -7, but nothing seems to help. Does this sound familiar to enyone? Using 000.150.048.013 firmware.Last edited by Fonzarelli; 11-06-2012 at 11:38 AM.

As per Benedikte request I made in BOLD the unsolved bugs. It is refreshing to see that Philips really solved some of the most annoying bugs. Some of the remaining bugs are Romania located - 4,10,17 - some are solvable by user - 16 - disconnect the second HDD, 23 - possible to be solved by re installing the TV set.
Keep up the good work Philips!
