Unhappy Video apps don't stream any longer on 5300 series

    Model No. 32PFK5300/12
    Software version: TPM156E_026.002.030.001

All installed video apps such as Youtube don't stream videos any longer since last night. The apps load without problems, Youtube even still plays the ads, but the actual video doesn't play --> message "Playback failed". All other functions work normally.

    What I tried so far:
    - Checked WiFi connection, is >20MBit/s
    - Cleared internet cache
    - Logged out and on again
    - Pulled mains plug

    Anything else I should try?
    Any information about server trouble?
    Any information on software bugs?

Here's a video with a similar error (not my video): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQGY_vYiluk

I have had the exact same issue with my 32fps5501/12 television. I've also contacted dutch web support. They asked me to reset to default (reinstall the tv) but that only worked for about 3 days. The problem is now back. I am glad I am not the only one experiencing this problem.

Update: I pulled the plug again and this time I launched another video app after the restart, not Youtube. It worked.

Actually all apps worked - until I tried to launch a Youtube video. After Youtube showed the "playback failed" message all other apps stopped working too. So the Youtube app is the root cause, at least in my case. The failure to play Youtube somehow causes all streaming to stop responding until I restart.

Update #2: Streaming works again, also with Youtube. I take it that it was a server issue, rather than a software issue.

The problem keeps on being ever present. It does mend itself after pulling the plug and restarting my tv. This is however rather annoying. As it happens completely random. This problem started occuring after the november 11th update.
