For the moment there are good apps on BDP7700/12, but, in "Dailymotion app" i can't use the wireless keyboard for research, as the "app Youtube"!!
PHILIPS can do something?

Looks like Philips doesn't want to comment about implementing highly desired NETFLIX to 2012 "Smart TV:s" - pity

I quote myself in here from another topic.
I have to admit. This is unbelievable bad support from philips. It takes weeks to get some answers for simple question. I cant use any app that is usefull for me.
-Viaplay: where did it disappear?
-Netflix: No?
-Well i just listen Tunein webradio then... NO!!! It doesn't work! Keys won't correspond, nothing happens when I try to move in menu!
-Youtube: works but slow and laggy.
I am losing my faith in this product. This is a "SMART TV" damn it! There is nothing smart about this when nothing that is usefull won't work! The rest of the apps is junk that nobody needs! Fix these problems please! consentrate to fixing these problems first. We don't need a stupid fireplace-app (which takes forewer to start).

I would like some international apps in Belgium: I am Italian and live there but all the channels/apps available are some depressing flanders broadcasts (like Ethias...who on earth would care???)

Hi,
just change the location in the App Gallery to Italy... then add your favorite app - sometimes they allow to view content outside the country...

So location is not tied to IP address ?
Philips has a table of Apps depending on country (pdf file somewhere in support webpages), so I thought the TV (or Philips server) was checking the country and limiting the Apps access based on IP.
Or is there a two-step process : App gallery location, then the application that can add a location check ?
I will also check asap.
Another way is to VPN, thus make sure the IP is switched to the right country (I still have to try myself).
