BBC iplayer please
Ideally (as noted above), generic flash support in the Internet service (browser). But if that's not possible, would it be possible to give us a standalone BBC iPlayer app? YouTube already uses Flash video - how hard would it be to add iplayer too?

Dear Philips,
when will be possible to download films from NET TV here in Italy?
Samsung (partnership with Telecom Italia for example), Sony and other brands are already offering this possibility to their users. Philips not!
Are you less "influential" than your competitors or are you about to come out with a news on this topic ??
regards

And I add again the request to have RAI Replay on NET TV (some competitors already offer on their TVs)

Dear Nettle,
A good video store should support movies in High Definition, 3D movies, direct streaming and streaming via SD-card buffer memory, Dolby surround sound, subtitle and language settings options and multiple payment options and it must be compatible with a variety of hardware (several generations of TV’s and Blu-Ray players).
You can see that there is a lot technology behind this; it requires complex building and a lot of testing.
We have multiple partners in process of building Net TV compatible video stores. Several stores are already in testing and finalizing phase. We can only release stores if they pass all the tests. Therefore it is not possible to mention release dates.
We make good progress and we will get there, step by step.
Please be patient.Forum Mod

hi.
i have some proposition.
it would be very good for ukrainians & russians if philips add application with possibility to watch films from resource http://ex.ua
there are a great base of movies, which every one can see online. some HD mediaplayers already added this feature.
it`s sad, but all people who bought Philips TV can not watch online videos with Flash player. so it would be great if at least we can watch films from ex.ua
Thanks.

Hi,
There should definitely be an RSS/Podcast app with the ability to add video (including HD) podcasts if the format is supported by the BDP/TV (similar to the functionality offered by iTunes on Macs and PCs).
There should be a Facebook app, and of course the Youtube app should be HD when available.
More news apps like the french LeFigaro would be great. I would like to see for example CNN, NYTimes, BBC, etc.
Thanks

I really would like to see some more WW accepted streaming applications like Ustream.com and HD Video sites like vimeo.com those are really the ones that I use the most and I now need to connect a computer to my TV to show that off easily.

Philips are good but should be faster!
I'm still very happy with my philips TV and think the Apps usually good, however I can't help but think that Philips are always very slow in getting new apps out there.
Yet again I see that the BBC have released some kind of News app....and who gets it Samsung!
Maybe its the model you have set up. If you look at Apple anyone can develop apps and Apple gets a cut of any profit meaning that within months there were literally thousands of apps. Every once in a while I start up the Philips App gallery hoping to find some cool new app and find nothing new.
The beeb are about to release the Global Iplayer on the ipad , but are then talking about opening this up to connected TVs.....will Samsung be first again

I also would like the BBC iPlayer app to be included!
I would have loved it to be there before Wimbledon!...
But I guess it won't be there in time for the finals this year...
