It would be great to have a good video store in germany. Something like: maxdome, videoload, LoveFilm, Vodafone Videothek, Amazon InstantShare.

Where you can watch your favorite video on demand. With newest movies, not just that viewster stuff.

Why isnot there a Ziggo-app on which you can log in and watch the interactive material of Ziggo??? E.g. their VOD. When you have a CI+module there is no possibility for this!

A Ziggo app for alles their VOD-products. I cannot watch them because I have an CI+-module.

    TV catchup services

Like many others I'd like to see the BBC iPlayer as an app on net tv. I think Samsung has it now, so why not Philips.

The only thing is as i'm in Germany, I guess the UK iPlayer would be blocked anyway. The BBC are due to release an International (Subscription-based) version of the iPlayer later this year however and I see no reason why this couldn't become a net tv app for use from anywhere.

Initially its only coming out on the iPad, but Philips should contact BBC worldwide and see if they'd be interested in an app for tvs.

Other than that i'd also like to see:

    SVT-PLAY
    TV4-PLAY
    Kanal5-PLAY etc from Sweden.

    Slingbox Connection

How about an App for Slingbox users!

With a slingbox you can watch your home country's tv anywhere....only thing is that its not so great having to watch it on a laptop. Yes you can link your laptop to the TV but it still means having to switch your laptop on everytime you wanna watch telly.

Sling do make a settop box with a remote called the slingcatcher that theoretically removes this need but its fairly expensive and some say it doesnt work brilliantly.

Seeing as your Philips telly is already connected to the net, couldn't there be a "Slingcatcher App" where you could link to your slingbox (whereever in the world it is) and use your normal philips remote to watch and control tv as if you were in your own country?

Hi - here in the UK we desparately need lovefilms or a streaming/downloadable film provider. This is available on Sony so why is Philips behind?
