This is definitely wrong and really unfair.
I agree, that some of the links listed at hbbig.com are not working good with a Philips TV.
But to say, that this is generally caused by software/hardware limitations at Philips side is not correct. There are several manufacturers (smaller and bigger ones) which do want to provide internet applications on their connected devices (not only TVs, also set top boxes or similar). So they are each starting to develop their own way and not every way is compatible to another one.
Philips is one of the leaders in connected TVs and HbbTV. But this does not mean a Philips TV can handle every app with non-standard extensions of third party manufacturers.
To make it short: The links on hbbig.com are not proven HbbTV conform sites. Every user can add a link he likes. There are links to apps which just work on one settop box from one manufacturer.
You can write your own non-standard app for your non-standard box at your home and add it on hbbig.com! Then Philips won't be able to update all TVs it has sold to just work with your app!
I also wish more compatiblity and less limitations by hardware/software, but to say Philips has to make the TVs compatible to every small app programming company is not the way it works.

Pluzz and M6Replay
Location: France
It is great to already have ARTE replay, but it would be even better to have PLUZZ. fr (french TV replay) and M6Replay.fr available as well. Without these 2 sites, I still need a computer if I missed something. They are available on SONY connected TV. Why not Philips?

Great way to interact directly with the innovators at Philips.
For the Netherlands:
- SBS Uitzending gemist
- Support for add-ins when using Internet Direct like, Adobe Flash Player and Java VM

In Germany:
I'd like to see the "Mediathek" app of NDR.
I would also love a generic internet radio app where I can fill in URLs of my favourite radio stations.

Dr. Dish + CcZwei
Yes, Dr. Dish is very good.
They have also the VERY GOOD "CCzwei" Computer Club zwei.
What i dont understand is, why are the shows not in the correct order?
For example: After Show nummer 65 come 39 and the 71 or so.
Why is there the nummeric order 1,2,3 .... ????? Or better in descending order ..... 4,3,2,1

Hi Matthias,
you don´t need an app on your 2011 TV set, because when you have enabled HBBTV this site is available with "red button"
Sat1 and Pro7 works the same way. There´s only one hitch, HBBTV is not always awailable, or it takes very long until it is loaded in the cache. Until the HBBTV isn´t loaded you will get the message, that this channel doesn´t provide HBBTV.

Hi,
I had the understanding that Sat.1 and Pro7 apps/red button links are disabled from Philips because this portal did not work well. Are they still working on 2011 TVs and are only disabled on 2010 TVs and older ones?
Can you still use the Sat.1 and Pro7 apps? For me the red button did not work anymore the last times I tried to use it.
What do you mean with HbbTV is not always available?

Hi smart,
yes indeed the Apps of Pro7 Media Group are disabled in the NET TV menu of the 2011 TV sets too. But when you have enabled the HBBTV function in the menu ( only 2011 sets) you are able, while watching the channel, to activate these pages with red button. From time to time the red button function doesn´t work, but this is no issue of the HBBTV content from Pro7 etc. it also occures on ARD, ZDF and Arte. I don´t know what the problem is. I´ve experienced that HBBTV on all channels take a long time until it is available and when playing with it, it often forces the TV to reboot. there is another strange behaviour, e.g. one started the HBBTV of ARD and you switch channel to Pro7 and one hit the red button on Pro7 again, the ARD Mediathek is loaded and not the one of Pro7.
Grtz
