A friend of mine has a WAC7500 /05 Streamium with one remote station. The problem is the main centre wont boot up.
When it is plugged into the mains, the screen lights up with "PHILIPS" then goes blank for a few seconds. the CD whirs then the screen says "Starting up please wait...". The hard drive starts, then after about 20 seconds you can hear 2 faints clicks.
It ten stays in this loop repaeating about every 30 seconds.
If I put in a CD with firmware update will this sort the problem by rewriting the sofware to the hard drive.
ANY advice would be helpful.
