    wacs7000 windows software

    hi
I've had my wacs7000 and the 2 satellite players since first release and have been very happy with the system, last year the cd drive stopped working and I have been told the cd drive is not made anymore so cant be replaced. now lately I have been thinking that I have a lot of music on the unit that I would not like to lose and would like to know if there is any software available for windows 7/8 that can play the backup file that is created with WADM on the computer, ie: something like the software that is on the wacs7000 unit itself.

I know I could transfer the music by using a usb drive but that would take forever and as I have found out does not always work.

    many thanks
    graham

    Hello Graham,

    Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to play back music from a backup file.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Graham !
If your WAC7000 is still booting up, you can use my WACHandler (http://tias.no-ip.org/WACHandler/) to copy the tracks from your Center to your PC.

    Cheers !
