TV 42PFL4007H doesn't switch automatically to DVD-player
I just bought a new TV Philips 42PFL4007H. If I am watching at TV and when I put a DVD in my DVD-player, the TV doesn't go to the DVD-player automatically. I have to select on the remote what HDMI-channel. That is a pity, I am used to TV switches automatically after I turn the DVD-player on. Can't I set somehwere so that the TV will switch automatically? BTW: the DVD-player is connected to the TV by a SCART.
I read everything on the Internet this TV has a refresh frequenty of 200 Hz, that is why I bought this TV. But after I installed everything, I found out the max Hz is 60 only. Is this true?? Why did it say 200 Hz?

In Help at Product Specification, Refresh rate you see everywhere 60 Hz at every different size and no 200 Hz.
My DVD Player is connected to a SCART-cable.
My HD digital receiver is connected to HDMI. If the (analog) TV is set on, and I turned HD digital receiver on, it doesn't also switch to my HD digital receiver.

looking to the specs:http://download.p4c.philips.com/file...12_pss_aen.pdf i can only see 60hz at the input signals for hdmi or scart. but this is only input output (panel) will still be 200hz...
about this dvd thing, the tv will automatically switch to the scart source if u use a full scart cable, there are 2 different scart cables on the market, one with full pins and one with less pins, if u use the one with less pins, the tv can not switch.

I bought the 37" version last week and my old freeview set top box is connected via a Philips DVD recorder with a scart cable and both both switch the tv to the appropriate setting when turned on.The other devices connected with HDMI cables need to be selected from the remote which I don't find too much of a chore..
Had a strange occurrence today when all of the connected devices refused to show on the tv,all I got was no video signal on the bottom of the screen.Switched the set off and unplugged for a few seconds and everything came back on.I hope this isn't going to be a regular glitch,my Philips Home Theatre System regularly freezes up on changing between inputs, resulting in the power down-unplug-power up routine. While it always seems to do the trick it's a bit of a drag.Anyone else had this with their 4007?
