Status on issues reported
Just bought my BDP7700 and after the device froze, Ive upgraded the firmware, and reset to factory settings. After that I have still issues, similar to those already reported on this forum. I am just curious to know if these has been reproduced by Philips and when/if we can see an upgrade of firmware?
Kinds Regards
Leo

To me its just no commitment. First an acknowledgement from an official source would be great, and second a message on IF there will be a firmware update, and when.

"We are currently investigating the issue and will come back to you as soon as possible" do not acknowledge anything, and does not give any commitment on when/if these issues will be fixed. It would be nice to hear from Philips.

Hi leooel,
As said in the other thread and as correctly mentioned by user Oscar we are currently investigating the issue and will come back to you as soon as possible.
As you can understand I cannot give you an exact date of a new fw release.
Thanks for understanding.
Kind regards,

But you could tell us what the investigation has told you so far. A statement saying that YES, we do have issues that needs to be addressed would have been much more appropriate. If Im not mistaken its more than a month ago, since these issues were reported, and if these matters was prioritized they should surely have been reproduced by now.
