Philips does NOT advise to downgrade, that is why we do not provide older SW versions on our website. Better wait for a NEW SW version, which is published on regular basis!

I you insist however, it is save to downgrade from e.g. 140.25 to 140.23 or 140.11 (same branch).
Do NOT downgrade from version 140.xx to 75.xx. This will result in a endlesly rebooting TV that must be serviced!

Downgrade instructions for downgrade to a lower 140.xx version:
    - Unzip file and copy "autorun.upg" in the root of an USB stick, and plug it into TV.
    - Press the OK (or ARROW DOWN) button on the remote, keep it pressed, and start the TV (with USB stick plugged in).
    - You will now enter the software upgrade/downgrade menu.
    - Choose the correct autorun.upg and start the software update/downgrade.

    Thank you for your answer.

    On the product's website:
    http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/d...=Link_Software
is written that the current version is 000.026.078.000

I don't know if this is what you call 140.xx version.

Anyway do you know from where I can download a previous version of the firmware?

I've found some data for you. Search for these two terms
    32pfl5604h_12_fus_eng upload on http://google.com/ncr

But observe caution when you use those files and use it at your own risk!

    Cheers
