Videoload (Germany) for 2009 TV 42PFL8684H/12
I've read several notices about Videoload VOD inside NetTV (for example here: http://www.newscenter.philips.com/de..._on_Demand.wpd )
Will Videoload also be available for my 2009 TV 42PFL8684H/12 ???

Read this topic and download the Excel sheet. This gives an overview of all services per country and device.

Yes, I saw this topic. My question is "Will be" not "IS". I wonder about this "old" press information, but Videoload is not yet mentioned inside the excel file at all.
So I still will ask: What happened with Videoload? And if it will be available: Also on my TV???

Hi,
I think you would like to know, if the videostore functionality (the press release says that Videoload will be the video on demand service in Germany) will be available in the 2009 TV series. The answer is NO. You will need a SD-Slot for caching the content (it will be encrypted) and Philips has no plans at the moment to use the USB-Port and an USB-Stick/HDD for caching purposes in the 2009 series.
