Flash Player 10 required
Can one download the Beta FlashPlayer 10 for 64 bits via NetTV Internet to see certain HDTV programs ? The request is the same as with Windows 7 and opening Inetnet pages with Internet Explorer 64 bit instead of 32 bit ....
Thanks

Dear Bernard, Vimeo.com is indeed a great website. I would love to have this active on Net TV in High Definition. Regretfully you can't install Flash, it is explained here

Many TV companies like to use Adobe Flash media to deliver content so they can protect their IP but Philips seem reluctant to support users with a Flash compatible browser, prefering to stick with their CE-HTML browser which precludes inclusion of Flash media.
Unfortunately for us the good people at the Open IPTV Forum (developers of the CE-HTML standard), which includes Philips but not Adobe have decided that Flash is evil and we the owners of Philips TVs will just have to go whistle.
The bottom line is that it would take a half competent software developer about a week to give us a Flash enabled browser.
Other TV manufacturers take a different view. Next time you go to buy an internet enabled TV check for Flash in the browser.
