    Windows Media Center

    Hello!
    I have a 46PFL8606T/12 and want to run Windows Media Center on your TV
    In the media center, I get a window where I have to complete the eight digit code from the TV
    Does anyone know where I can find the code?

    Hi,

    what you try to do is, to use the TV as Windows Media Center Extension - this is not supported by Philips TVs (and I don't now if any other brand supports that).

    If you want to stream video or audio from your pc to you tv and the tv wont connect with your windows media center, i have found a little solution. Download the PS3 Media center and install to your pc. The philips tv will recognize it easily. It's a little slow if you have allot of media files to transcode, but if you are patient you will be able to play any type file you want - mkv, mp4, avi, divx etc.
