32pfl5604h/12 problem

Today I turned on my 32pfl5604h/12, it took unusually long to turn on. When it turned on it did not fully respond to remote control input, it is receiving the remote input (the led on bootom of TV is flickering when I push a button on remote.)
Also its brightness was rapidly varying for no reason. 1st channel was playing fine. The sound was on and video was ok. I could not change to any other channel because it was not fully responding to remote input.

I could access Manual Software Upgrade screen with no problems (holding OK while powering on TV), reinstalled the newest firmware (32pfl5604h_12_fus_eng), but it did not help.

I looked in http://download.p4c.philips.com/files/3/32pfl5604h_12/ and found http://download.p4c.philips.com/file...12_hf1_eng.zip firmware with similar problem fixes described in the included readme, but it does not show up when I try to install it in Manual Software Upgrade screen. Is it for different region? I made a Upgrades folder tried renaming it to software.upg but it would not show up anyway.

Have I missed something? Do I need to take it to shop? It looks like a software problem, because screen and sound is working.

Maybe a silly question : Did you unpack the zip file with an unzip program on the computer to the USB-stick?

And...which country are you in?
