47pfl5603d/f7 LCD powers on then screen goes blank

TV powers on showing "Philips" then the screen flickers black. Using a flashlight, I determined that while the screen is black, the image is still there. The power indicator led light stays on, white, and not blinking. There is also still sound. None of the capacitors on the power supply board appear to be swollen or leaking. There are no burn marks on the power supply board.
Suggestions?

Thanks for posting and also troubleshooting the issue to the extent that you have done.

There are a number of things which can cause the symptoms you are seeing, but based on what you have written, it looks like there is something wrong with the video processing block on the MainBoard of the TV.

If you have not tried already, try AC resetting the TV, try hooking up various devices to it, i.e. using Composite, Component & HDMI.

If none of the above steps work, you have three options:

1. Get your TV repaired from a local TV Repair Shop, you can find one @ http://www.tvrepairpros.com/
Once they diagnose and find the issue, and if it indeed is your MainBoard/SSB, they will need to order one using this part number - 313918900001 from https://www.encompassparts.com
