    BDP9600 supporting Netflix

    Netflix has just started up in Denmark. But does my BDP9600 support Netflix or does Philips release new software so that it becomes possible?

    Hi,

    it depends on the DRM system Netflix is using. If it's Windows Media DRM that the app won't be supported on BDP9600, since WM-DRM is not supported... If Merlin DRM is used, it could be supported.

    Dear Hauskou,

    For Netflix this will be enabled in 5500, 7700, 9700. Also it will be for the Nordic countries but this has to be further defined yet.

    If any other models will be added then this will be posted.
