Ad7000w
I have recorded all my CDs on my IPad and want to buy the new AD7000W to play all my music in future. My worry is that I might have connectivity problems with my wifi router. The Talktalk N speed router is located in my study upstairs with a pc connected by cable. My IPad is wireless of course and I have not experienced any connectivity problems as yet. I only intend to use the speaker downstairs in the lounge and I am hesitating to go ahead because no retailer can reassure me on this subject. Has anyone got a similar arrangement ?

Well this is dicicult to say i think. Ok your Ipad goes well but you have tested any other devices also.
Is there any devices or objects that might interfere your signal etc?

Thanks Oscar, do not think so, however I suspect that the pc with it's cable connection will always take precedence but it seems unlikely that I will use both at the same time. The other problem is that the router is upstairs in the study and I want to play music downstairs in the lounge.

This will enhance the range of your wifi signal. For me it works great since from my stidy to downstairs there was signal loss and to make sure that all my devices will work (they do great
) I bought this.
Maybe the AD7000 will work perfectly without this but dont have it so cannot tell

don't do it!!!! sound quality is amazing but it repeatedly loses connection and drops out during playback and today it just resorts to a slow blinking red flashing light - won't connect or anything - have tried unplugging, resetting - nothing. google the model with flashing red light and see the wave of dissatisfied customers. philips how do I get a working, fit-for-purpose replacement or a full refund ?

I finally have a solid working wifi config now, after borrowing a professional analyzer.
Everything else on my wifi network, including other airplay devices has always always worked solidly. There are a lot of issues with the AD7000W.
I posted details here.

hope this helps.
