Stuck in service scan loop

Hi, switched on my set (50PFP5532D/05) this morning and it came on in service scan, it will perform a scan and finds both analogue(we dont have it now) and digital chanels. It then just sits there and keeps saying scan in progress. I have rescanned with no ariel connected and my sky dish disconnected and it still finds the same channels. It wont reset with menu button, HELP!

Hi, replying to my own post but it may help someone else. When you start the scan wait until it is looking for analogue stations and press TV menu on remote, this cleared the old memory some how and digital scan found all of my chanels,
