BT2500B/37 cuts off sound from Dish network TV

As the title says my BT2500B/37 cuts off when it is connected to my Dish Network TV set top box bluetooth. Whenever I pause, rewind or even change the channels the sound will stop. I have to turn off the BT2500B/37 and turn it back on to get the sound to start working again. I sent the first BT2500B/37 back to Amazon thinking it was just a bad unit, but the new one they sent me does the exact same thing. Is there any fix for this or do I have to return it for a full refund from Amazon? Is there a firmware update that fixes this problem? Also I verified that my 2 other bluetooth speakers from 2 different companies do not have this problem so it is not the Dish Network set top box. I have about 29 more days to return it to Amazon, thanks.

    Hello woggs1,

Would that be possible to test Philips speaker with another Bluetooth enabled device?

Please, be aware of following information:

    - Philips does not guarantee the compatibility with all Bluetooth devices.
    - Before pairing a device with this system, read its user manual for Bluetooth compatibility.
    - The product can memorize a maximum of 4 paired devices.
    - Make sure that Bluetooth function is enabled on your device, and your device is set as visible to all other Bluetooth devices.
    - The operational range between this system and a Bluetooth device is approximately 10 meters (30 feet).
    - Any obstacle between this system and a Bluetooth device can reduce the operational range.
    - Keep away from any other electronic device that may cause interference.

    Kind regards,
    Philips Moderation Team
