    Can't add favorites to NP3300/12

    The favorites function works well for internet radio stations. Tracks from the server however can't be marked as favorite. Pressing the button on the remote just has no reaction. According to the manual this should be possible. Any hints? TIA, K

    Question

    Ok, maybe some more details are needed here .

    HOW IT SHOULD BE (from user manual page 20, click image for larger version):

    HOW IT IS:
    When I press "Favorites" on the remote as instructed, nothing happens. No list of favorite songs is created.

    Other info:
    - Latest firmware
    - Tested with different media servers
    - With internet stations, favorites function works as it should

    So, please let me now: Is this a common problem? Is this working for anyone?

    SOLVED - sort of...

    Philips support just confessed that adding files as favorites is not possible anymore and that the manual is wrong in this regard.

    This speaks for itself, no further comment from my side needed here.
