    Pointer Remote Control for 6xx7 series

    The latest TV firmware update 000.150.048.009, 2012-10-24 enables a Pointer functionality for Smart TV applications

    Does this work only with the remote control of 7xx7 and 8xx7 TV series?

    Is it possible to get a 7xx7 series remote and use it with a 6xx7 series TV to have the same functionality?

    Hi,

    it's not possible - cause the pointer functionality is only available in the two-sided remote controls (with the keyboard on the back). And these RC are working via RF. The others of the 6000 series are working with IR and these models don't have a RF receiver as far as I know.
