This post says almost all. Even a 14 yr old script kidde would be able to write better "smart apps" under a open platform.
Most VOD services is supported under Opera. The tech guys at Philips might have stripped Opera plugins to handle only approved material, but I can not understand the security issue about having the missing Netflix running in the Opera browser.
Even my iPad is a better TV than the wall mounted Philips and suddently I realized why Ive never seen a tablet branded by Philips.

Philips,
Do you have updates regarding the HDNM issue? Where are you, why don't you respond?
Where are your technical people?
You are just brutally ignoring us so much time...
If this is the way you're handling problems, then your service is really bad, and unfortunately this will be my last TV from your brand.

If some of you want to test the HDNM issue with your own eyes.
Please go to that post where I explain how to get URBAN ACROBAT vidéo.
Please give us your feedback here.
And if you have time, test the other clips. You'll see all HDNM problems that have been discussed so far.
Philips, will you also give back your own appreciation ?
Is it limited to some models, a a production batch ?
Thanks

Got no problems with 46pfl7007k with urban acrobat video. Bought the tv in August.
But i have this weird problem with ambilight going off after i turn off the TV, so when i go to sleep in about 15 minutes i get bright glow in other room, really spooky. It turns itself off in a while.Last edited by Syncmahv; 11-16-2012 at 02:49 PM.

Did you download the clip on http://www.demo-world.eu or did you check with the bad version on youtube ?
I'm quite sure you downloaded the original version, just to make sure.

I didn't mean to bother you. I just wanted to make sure you got the original.
In another forum, there was a guy saying he had the same issues for a 7007, but so far the confirmed reports were for 6xx7 (still unsure about 6907) and 8007.

Tv becomes unresponsive to remote at least 3 times a day and requires a hard reset to become operational again, really irritating.
Sound output drops very occasionally on free view HD, I had this problem every 30 seconds or so, drove me insane so I bought a new amp.
When using dlna through network TV will need a hard reset at least 50 percent of the time.
Hdnm bug annoying but I can live with it.
A serious question to Philips now, the 32 and 42 pfl6007 is now effectively discontinued, 47 and 55 continuing for now. How long will philips continue with software updates for an old model?
If most of my problems are not solved then where are we left?
We should be able to return the TV for a refund
