46pfl7007t 2012 model
Hi
Yes, from the UK and have a 2012 46pfl7007t bought last week. However - I wont have it much longer. Its being swapped next week for a Samsung 7000 series. Gutted as I wont have ambilight, whcih I have enjoyed on my previous model for 5 years. Whilst I have managed, after some hefty tweaking sessions and forum reading, to get some very good pictures out of the 7007, the dirty screen effect (DSE) on football is simply terrible. Unwatchable. I have downloaded the latest software update to no effect.
Running Sky+ HD and watching football through the same.

of course (42pfl6097) ...just Ambilight prevents me to keep this tv.
I'll wait a bit, if Philips anything solved with FW update,
Shame of you Philips, you even don't respond, as would we be idiots here.
We are giving them all necessary information, pictures, clips about problems...
Tell Philips, that is not possibly to repair, confess mistake and the end of debate..

If this cannot be fixed then a part refund for those willing to keep the TV minus a working feature advertised at the time of purchase or a full refund for those that don't.
This is really the only solution in this case.
Isn't it?

Laws are at most equal in countries...especially, if you live in Europe.
For more detailed information look Consumers' Association in your state.
It was the same on PS3, when removed Linux support...you could complain and got refund or change for other goods.
sorry for bad english.

I'm almost in Europe.
I'd like to get some feedback from Philips, kind of respect to customers.
But I don't believe we'll get some refund (finally I don't care myself so much about money in that aspect). I'd like to be able to decide freely whether to keep the TV or not (being able to discuss an exchange with my seller)
But as it is Christmas/Cash season, I don't think we should expect much till next year.

I am waiting on an official statement from Philips about the hdnm fault. The last pm I got from benedickte said she was waiting on this and had pushed for it but she is away until the 3rd December.
Anyone have anything to add to this?

Hello,
I have the same problem with my 47PFL6057T/12 on Viaplay as Per-A. Same problem for the last 3 firmwares and it does happen on all movies. I have cleared the Net TV memory also with no luck. The worst off all when I clear memory is that Viaplay think I register a new TV and loose 1 off my 4 connections :-(

+ the VIAPLAY problem: You cannot pause a film and come back 3-4 minutes later and play ..... the screen turns black and all stops. (pull the mains plug)Last edited by per-a; 11-29-2012 at 12:14 PM.

Controlling Ambilight via the JointSpace API doesn't work properly. Some LEDs don't change colour, some change randomly, sometimes the response a request is "bad request" and LEDs change randomly, API examples don't work or even crash the TV's webserver

I still have the Ambilight problem when the TV is in standby mode...
As soon as the PVR starts to record, Ambilights LED ''wake up'' and behaves as if the TV was on !
Even If I disable Ambilight in the parameters menu !!!
Any trick to get rid of this or just need to wait for the next software update ?
