46PFL8007 , HDMI - "No video signal"
Hi,
Can't get my Home Cinema set connected anymore, but was initally ok! Below chain of events:
- Purchased this TV a few days ago and I connected Home Cinema set (Harman Kardon HS200) through HDMI cable. All OK for playing DVD's.
- However as HK set doesn't support HDMI ARC a separate optical audio cable was required to have TV audio via HK set.
- Today purchased audio cable (Hitachi optical cable, Toslink, 1.5M) and connected.
- TV audio now all ok on HK set. However when trying to watch DVD the message shows; no video signal.
- So can't watch any DVD's!
- Tried several HDMI connections, removed optical cable, re-installed all with new set up of TV etc. Nothing solved the problem!
- Software version is 133.5
Anyone familiar with this problem? Recommended solutions? Any advise welcome!
Thanks,
AmbiFan

I have the same problem on my 47pfl6007t/12
The TV is just broken, it does not receive signal from PS3. I have tested on two other screens and it works perfectly there, but then I connect my philips TV with same cable, or other cables, in all hdmi-input sockets.. No signal at all.
Hdmi from PC works fine, but I dont have my new games or bluray-player on the pc..
The only solution I can think of right now is to RMA it and get a replacement, I must have tested every single variable half a dozen times. Even if it should work in the end there is already reason enough to return it to the store, I should not need to seek help on the official forum to connect a hdmi source.Last edited by Pycnopodia; 11-07-2012 at 10:17 PM.

Try disconnecting everything from the TV and leaving it overnight for 8 hours, I had a similar problem and after trying everything in the book I unplugged it and prepared to return it to the store. But I gave it one last try and then everything worked perfectly.
I think the TV has to be disconnected from its power source for a long time to do a full reset, I dont know if it takes 3 minutes or 10 hours but its worth a try. Good luck

Issue solved!
I tried it all, including buying an expensive new HDMI cable. Nothing worked.....
However when searching on the internet I finally found a site describing the connection problems with a Harman Kardon HS200. I am defintely not alone!
Anyway, on the remote of the HS200 there is a buton "format". Pushing this a few times solved the problem. As simple as that (if you know it!).
