Wake-up Light 3550 - iPhone app bugs?
Where do I report bugs found in the iPhone app for this device?
I have discovered a big problem when using two (or more alarms). Setting the first alarm to week days and the second to week-end days, only the first alarm is detected (shown as next alarm in the app) and the bell symbol is not shown on the device's display even though the second alarm is set as active in the app.
I'm considering returning the Wake-up light because if this critical flaw!
I'm using the latest iPhone app version 1.0.2.

Yes, I tried to upgrade to the new 1.0.3 which was actually worse. A alarm refused to start after sleep-mode was used the night before. Then in the morning when I discovered it's failure and I activated (swipe to unlock) the iPhone, the Wakeup Light app suddenly discovered the alarm which then started. WTF!?!?
This didn't happen for me with 1.0.2.
Shockingly poor software quality. An alarm clock that doesn't start?
I have now returned the Wakeup Light 3550 to the store and got a full refund. A shame since I like the concept and the light was really nice, but if I can't depend on alarms starting, then it's completely useless for me.
Before 3550, I tried out the 3520 model which was better (alarm that always start as configured!). But I returned it because it didn't allow me to have automatic weekday and weekend alarm profiles. It has support for two alarm profiles but since the Wakeup Light doesn't have a date setting, it doesn't know the day of week, and the user have to activate the correct alarm profile every night... turn on alarm profile 1 for weekdays and profile 2 for weekendsLast edited by Beano; 11-15-2012 at 11:04 AM.

Try to make two profiles. One for monday-friday (lets say 7 am) and one for saturday+sunday (lets say 8am).
Leave the iPhone in the dock the entire week (if possible) with the app started. You should observe that the alarm doesn't start monday and saturday morning as expected. Rest of the week it should be fine.
That was my experience with version 1.0.2 :PLast edited by Beano; 11-16-2012 at 11:56 AM.
