    Remote stopped working

    The volume will not work and we cannot power the tv on with the remote. It is not a problem with the remote...definitely with the tv sensor. Does anyone know what the exact part may be that needs to be fixed? Phillips 50 inch 50PF9631D/37

    Can you power the TV on with the buttons on the side of the unit? If so once on do the other buttons on the remote work ok?
