32GB USB key not recognized
Hello,
I have LCD Philips 32pfl4606h-58. When I connect my Transcend 32GB USB key to USB port on my Philips LCD it wont recognize it. As I never plugged it in.
I formated my USB key with FAT32, FATNT and eFAT and still no success. Also I tried another 32GB USB key and still no success. Tried both USB ports on Philips LCD and still no success. Also I had it plugged directly into LCD USB port, not with extension cable.
On other hand it easily recognize my 8GB USB key and also my 1TB USB hard drive. I have latest Firmware.
Any suggestions?Last edited by svecka; 11-05-2012 at 08:20 PM. Reason: typo errors

Ok. You said you have the latest software version...is it nr. 2.22?
I think in some rare cases it's possible a flash drive is incompatible with a tv (or another device). I would try another flash drive from different brand.
For example: I have this problem with my car radio...it doesn't like all usb flash drives

Try partitioning the USB key
I have the same problem with both 16GB and 32GB USB-Stick from cnmemory - it's just not recognized by my 37pfl6007.
Try partitioning the stick like you would partition a hard drive. One partition is sufficient. Then format the partition.
This worked for me.
It's still a bug though! The TV should really recognize the stick without extra partitioning.
