At the moment I'm thinking of buying a new BR player. At the moment I've got the BDP-5180.
I've got a question about the startup of the bdp7700.
The bdp-5180 always starts the disc (when present). Also when you just want to use DLNA or Net TV.
After the disk is loaded you can stop the disc and go to the home screen and choose another activity. This is quite time consuming.

Does the 7700 have a setting to disable automatic startup of discs? Or is it really really quick with a disk inserted )
