Firmware ok ???
Question for all owners
You have had great benefits in updating the firmware?
Smaller blocks?
Or do you think there is still something not working right?
Reviews on this player?
Thank you very much

Just updated to new (3.53) firmware.
Everything is as before: the 3D is UNUSABLE!!!
This from my previous posts:
"These are the big issues and problems with 3D:
all the scenes are "duplicated" and , it seems almost everything is "under water".
I's impossible to see any scene without eyes-ache!
I must give-up using the 3D.
These are the same problems I had with bdp7600 (using several firmware) and at the end, fortunately, I gave back the product to the dealer."
I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH THIS PROBLEM!
thanks

Hi,
if you had the same problem with your previous BDP7600, maybe your TV is the problem...

Sorry Toengel, but the TV is NOT the problem!
As I reported on my previous thread:
http://www.supportforum.philips.com/...ware-downgrade
Some tests were made with my tv 8606 and other blu-ray player (samsung) with my same glasses (pta517 and pta507) and everything was fine!
My player connected to TV samsung (55") had the same issues as on my tv philips!
As I wrote in my previous thread with old firmware (3.34) everything in 3D was fine (and pleasant): Hugo Cabret, RIO, ICE Age 3 and more...
now I'm sad, distrust and tired of this story...
bye
Paolo
