47PFL6007T/12 not working with Playstation 3
My TV set cant detect any video signal coming from my Playstation, after trying with different HDMI-cables and all hdmi-inputs on the TV I thought my Playstation was broken.
However the Playstations HDMI output works perfectly with the other displays and projectors I have connected it to, its just the Philips TV that refuses to detect any incoming signal from it.
I really liked this TV and I dont want to return it, Im making good use of the ambilight lounge mode now.
Any possible fixes for this, or should I send it back to the store and wait for a replacement?

Did you try to connect another device at the hdmi inputs to see if they're working as they should? the ps3 you saw that's working, so you need to test the tv inputs too.

I forgot to mention that, the TV inputs work fine when connected to a PC.
Im at a loss why the TV will not accept the signal, it just doesnt for whatever reason.

Well, this will be a lucky guess, even more after you said that you connected the ps3 with other tvs and it worked fine.
but try resetting the ps3 video output to default by holding(while power is off, red led on) it's power button for a few seconds and wait for it to beep a second time(the first one is when you press it).
maybe that works.

Thanks for quick answer, I already tried that several times though
Also tried unplugging every other device, unplugging everything and power cord for an hour and so forth.
Holding the power on button changes hdmi output from 1080p to 576p on the other displays I connect it to, but the Philips TV will not detect it anyway..
The hdmi-inputs work with 1080p signal from computer.
The PS3 output works just fine on the other displays I connect it to.
Have no idea whats wrong, but it seems like a handshaking issue?

Update: The TV does not receive audio from my computer in HDMI...
In fact, my Nvidia Geforce GTX 670 detects the TV-connector as "DVI - PC display", but its connected with HDMI..
Also, the TV is named "Digital Display" in Windows.
The HDMI inputs seems to be defective.
Looks like I will have to RMA it and get a replacement :/

well, i,m fresh out of ideas as to why the ps3 isn't working. for the pc, did you awitch the output to digital? if you're using windowsnyou can right click the volume icon and choose playback, the right click on digital something, i'm not on my pc at the moment, and make it the default.
hope it works

Excellent advice
However it seems the TV itself is damaged or broken. The HDMI sound outputs cant be enabled because none of them detects a sound device on the other end of the hdmi cable.
I think all this started after the last firmware update, not sure if its related or not, but is it possible to downgrade to firmware 133? its worth a try I think..

UPDATE: TV is working fine now!
I had a chat with Philips LiveSupport and I got help trying out different things for the TV. Actually I just plugged the power cord and other cables back in and it worked.
The TV had been disconnected for the entire night and I think that did a reset on it that solved my problem.
Excellent support, thanks alot
