40PFL5507 VGA connection displays incorrectly
Hi,
I just bought a Philips 40PFL5507 tv. I'm trying to connect my PC using the VGA input on the TV. It works well when I set the resolution of the PC to 1280x1024, but not when I set the resolution to 1920x1080. In the latter case, the left and right edges of the image are not displayed on the TV. At the bottom a part of the image is also missing (not aligned with the bottom of the TV). I've checked that the VGA cable is correct and the video card can display at 1920x1080. What can I do to get the TV to display correctly?
Cheers,
D Drmmr

Hi,
is your PC setup to 60Hz in that resolution (1920x1080)?
